I guess, I better start with introducing myself to you.

I was born in the legendary year 1963, and I’m living in the middle of the largest complex of big cities in the west of Germany – in the so-called "Ruhrpott" where you’ll never get bored and where you can meet a lot of nice and interesting people.
About two years ago I made one of my biggest wishes come true when I started to work as an independent translator and writer. I knew the risk, but I just had to make it, and the time had come. Please, believe me, I never regretted this step by now.

I think, there’s nothing better than doing what you always wanted to do, what you feel you have to do and what you can do best of all due to your skills, talents and dreams. And when you’re doing it for yourself and with taking the whole responsibility into your own hands, finally everything seems to be perfect.

Some people say, sometimes I was on the way to turning into a workaholic, but I don’t see myself this way. As long as working means so much fun, it just can’t be wrong to do a little bit more, and beside this, I always use to make sure to get enough time for all of my various hobbies and interests, e.g. for travelling to my beloved „second home-country“, the U.S.A. where I have a lot of good friends, for spending nice and funny evenings with my friends, for reading, for going to the movies, for corresponding with my pen-friends all over the world, for driving my cabrio whenever the crazy German weather allows it, etc., etc., etc...

But now, I’ll go on with telling you something about my work!
