Already when I was still at school,
I felt the fascination of languages, and it’s been more fun than
work to me to study English, French and Spanish. So, after leaving
school, I made sure not to stop going on studying and improving
my skills whenever I saw a chance for exercising.
I always believed that you only can get closer and closer to
a foreign language by talking to native speakers and by travelling
through their country, not at school. During your studies, you only
receive a rather basic knowledge. That’s why I only got the real
“kick” during my travels through the States and while working and
talking with many nice American work-mates when I have been employed
at international companies after school. Since then, English
has always been my favorite foreign language, and I always prefer
translating from and into English.
While
being an independent translator, by now e.g. the British author
Alan F. Alford, several German magazines and an international pharmacy
combine have been my clients. Above all, I enjoy working for
my friends from the Tehuti Research Foundation in North Carolina
who are doing a great and exciting research to unveil the true history
of Ancient Egypt. I guess, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you
how much I already learnt about this fascinating country while translating
these most interesting articles and books.
Probably,
now you might be interested in some examples of my translations.
If yes, please, have a look at the following website: http://www.egypt-tehuti.org. All German pages
and articles that you’ll find there are a part of the translations
that I have done for the Tehuti Research Foundation by now.
In April 2001, the Tehuti
Research Foundation published the first book in the U.S.A. that
has been translated from English into German completely by myself.
I’m rather proud of this big job. The German title is "Der
Betrug mit der Geschichte - Die unveröffentlichte Geschichte
des Alten Ägypten" (“Historical deception – The untold
story of Ancient Egypt”, author Moustafa Gadalla, ISBN 0-9652509-2-X).
In the United States you can order this book via the website of
the Tehuti Research Foundation mentioned above. In Germany,
you can get this book or further information about it at: Ancient

getting to know the prices of my translations, please, feel free
to contact me with an e-mail inquiry to the following address: CHM3663@AOL.COM!
It’s almost impossible to make a general price-list for translations
as the charge depends too much on the theme, quality and quantity
of the text you might want me to translate. So, I prefer making
individual quotations according to your personal wishes and needs.
Let’s just talk about it! I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
Well, and beside the translations, I’m also trying to fulfil
my dream of being a writer with rather different themes. So,
let’s go on! |
